Operational Data: Verify Before You Report

Someone will make a decision from the numbers you send. This module is about making sure those numbers can be trusted first: count exactly what was asked, check the data before you total it, take apart a gap between two sources, and report the week's verified figures.

You do it at Everfield's operations desk on a Friday, with one week of real-looking records: the order export, ClearPath's weekly report, the stock sheet and the open-items log. Count, verify, reconcile, report.

Before you start: this module assumes you can already read, sort and filter a spreadsheet (PVA Spreadsheet Basics covers this). No formulas are needed: every table here is short, and a calculator is fine. Type numbers as digits only.
